GMCNA Performance Academy Programme
Our Performance Academy supports talented Under 13 and Under 15 athletes across Greater Manchester, providing high-quality coaching and competitive opportunities to support their development both on and off the court.
The programme has developed some of the sport’s brightest stars, including Lois Pearson, Anya Williams, and Berri Neil, who have all gone on to represent Super League franchises and England Netball.
Trial Info – 2025 Intake
- Trial Date: Sunday 28th September 2025
- Location: Wright Robinson Sports College
- Time: 9am–5pm
- Application Deadline: Monday 1st September 2025, 5pm
Eligibility
- U13s: School years 7 & 8 (as of September 2025)
- U15s: School years 9 & 10 (as of September 2025)

- Applications open from June each year
- Trials are held annually in September/October
- Weekly training at Wright Robinson Sports College
- The County participates in County Play Days and County Tournaments throughout the season
